Akio Onda,was greatly influenced by Munakata Shiko, as he studied under Murakata Shiko at Musashino Art College,where he graduated in 1956.Akio Onda works in woodblock technique and uses some of the same methods as his teacher as painting and printing from verso.The well known Yoseido Gallery and Tanseido Gallery in Tokyo,is where Akio Onda held his first one man show in 1969 and 1970.
