Biography
| Anatoliy Ivanovitch Shugrin studied in Moskovsk technical school of the fine arts until 1930. After 1933 he began participating in exhibitions. Shugrin was a member of Association Moscow artists (OMKh). In 1930s he presented his works at an exhibition "Hundred masters", organized by the Moscow company of artists and Committee of affairs of arts. In 1980 a collection of his works were bought by I. Savitskiy for the State museum of arts of Nukus (Uzbekistan). For the most part, his paintings were taken out of Russia to the USA where exhibitions of the artist's paintings began the in 1980s. |
