My art style is anime art. Some of my ideas are based off of anime that I have watched in the past, and sometimes video games and sometimes comics. In the future, I may create stories out of my characters. I might make profiles for those characters, about their personalities. Sometimes, the things that I do in real life have inspired me to draw.
What has inspired me to draw? I’d say that the people in my family, like my grandmother. I grew up playing video games, and tried to draw the characters from the games. At first they were a bit weak, but I practiced hard and eventually I improved my artwork. I began making my own characters and fan characters. I have also had a website where I post artwork on it. I eventually want to make a cartoon out of my characters, like the movie called “Spirited Away”. I also draw chibi animals and sometimes I even create paper crafts, but only for special occasions.
Even though some of my work is based on anime style, it is my own style. The mediums that I use are a no.2 pencil, markers, paint, colored pencils, MS Paint, and PhotoshopCS3.
I usually begin a drawing with pencil, then I outline it with a black thin marker or a pen. If I use a pen, I wait for the ink to dry, then color it with colored pencils. If I plan on creating digital art, I scan the outline drawing, clean it up in PhotoshopCS3 and play around with it until it is to my satisfaction.
