Bakusen Tsuchida was born in 1887.The artist was awarded as a member of the Emperial Fine Art Acadamy.He attended school at the Kyoto School of Painting where he studied painting. He also studied in Europe from 1921 to 1923,and in Japan. Maiko-Young Geisha apprentices were the artist favorite subject of prints.The artist died in 1936.
