British Wildlife Photography Competition Exhibition
September 29th, 2012 to February 24th, 2013
Horniman Museum: 100 London Road, London, SE23 3PQ, United Kingdom
A free exhibition of winning images from the 2011 British Wildlife Photography Competition. Established in 2009 to recognise the talents of wildlife photographers, both amateur and professional, the annual competition aims to highlight the wealth and diversity of Britain\'s natural history and ecological concerns. The competition is unique in that all images must be taken of British wildlife in its natural habitat. Subjects on display range from a jelly fish photographed in icy waters off Scotland to a brown hare\'s early-morning adventure in Norfolk.
