I am 17, and currently attending Photo Imaging classes at Metro Tech high school in Phoenix Arizona. I was born in Gary, Indiana, to parents who loved photography. My father was a photographer, he passed away when I was 11. That is what brought me out here to Arizona. Now I have found a high school with a fantastic photography program to help me enhance my skills.
As I work in the field of photography, I work to make amazing images, that convey my emotion, or what feeling that I want to have. I do greatly enjoy making nostalgic, fun, and sometimes depressing or cold images. I feel like there is such powerful emotion in those types of them. I also like to include things that just everyday people can appreciate. Not just me or other photographers. I like to capture things such as girls getting ready for prom, or someone just doing something special to them, but from another angle.
I favor taking photos in digital format instead of film. I tend to create better images that way. I have worked with film but the majority of my photographs are digital. I do like to use filters and other special effects on Photoshop. But I really enjoy it when an image just works perfectly for me, without me altering it.
