Biography
| Charles de La Fosse was a French history painter in the late 17th century. He studied in Rome and Venice. He also trained under Le Brun, however his most influential experience was his study of Veronese, which directly influence his paintings. He submitted to the Royal Academy. He also decorated the Montagu House, though now destroyed, it was known as one of his most showcasing works. |
