I am sharing this as a reminder that any medium can be incorporated into or as art. I stumbled upon this artist from a art blog I subscribe to. Aakash Nihalani, is as Brooklyn based artist uses tape as a medium in public places around New York.

The artwork is enlightened coolness (http://www.aakashnihalani.com/). Here's a link to the gallery (http://www.unurth.com/index/filter/Aakash-Nihalani). Pretty cool, huh?

"My work is created in a reaction to what we readily encounter in our lives, sidewalks and doorways, building and bricks. I’m just connecting the dots differently to make my own picture. Others need to see that they can create too, connecting their own dots, in their own places." - Aakash Nihalani

This really is RAD. Love, love, love this tap thing! Im into geometric patterns and objects of any sort so it was an easy sell but props to being creatively simple. Even the interactive ones are fun! They'd be a great iphone or ipad app for little kids to play with.
