I must recommend Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix. Nationally famous Chef/Owner, very long lines to get in(no reservations), some leave without even getting to eat anything! But they do have a wine bar next door where you can wait, and ooohhh yes it is worth the wait!

Good pizza in Arizona?? Really?? I'll have to look that one up. I've been starving for good pizza since leaving the East coast. I've resorted to making my own--I've wasted good money on bad pizza. Thanks for the tip!

I'm told nothing compares to East Coast pizza... nothing.

You are correct, East coast pizza is the best, but you have to trust me (I am a trained chef and married to a chef) Chris Bianco is from the East coast and does make some of the best pizza in America(take it from Bon Apetit, Gourmet Magazine, Oprah, Food Network, Gastronomica..and the list goes on) check out pizzeriabianco.com eat it and then let me know, remember to get there early or you wont get in, hey you might also run into someone famous! Amazing that such a place is in the desert!

If you don't want lines quite as long as Bianco but pizza that is nearly as good check out La Piazza al Forno. Its located at 58th ave and Glendale Ave. It was featured on the Food Network show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Super delicious.
Hi Reed,
Are you feeling better ? There are more interns sick here by now. I was really sick all day yesterday but have recovered by now.
See you next week,
Cheryl
