3musketeers

Hi Everybody:
We're the 3 Musketeers -- Toni, Lenny, & David. :p
Two of us live in SW Florida, and the other in Winston-Salem.
Anyhow, Lenny has been an art collector for close to 30 years now. (Through "thick & thin" times!) As you can imagine, Lenny has built up quite a collection, much of it donated. Long story on THAT one!
What we need to do is get some of Lenny's items identified and sold. There are some very exclusive pieces in the collection, including vases, paintings, clocks. For example, some of the Asian pottery is quite exquisite.
First and foremost, we need to figure out who the artists are (on the UNSIGNED art items). Any ideas on how to research would be highly appreciated. (Two of us have only a marginal art background, so we need to rapidly educate ourselves and get up-to-speed, in order to better assist Lenny.)
Then we need to get professional appraisals, and figure out how to sell the art items at fair market value, starting with a few of the more impressive pieces.
We have some very unique entrepreneurial ideas, and need to raise funds from the sale of these art pieces and get everybody on track -- in spite of the so-called "economic recovery"!
Anyhow, we're happy to meet everybody, and will be hanging out here.
