I found a sketch at a thrift shop, which has a signature and it is dated 1884. I have no clue what the signature says. Furthermore I have no idea if this is really from 1884. How can I tell if this is really from the 1880's? What kind of paper did they use? Does anyone know? Thank you in advance for your feedback :)

I had the opportunity to interview Andrew Wyeth in 1994 when I was in the fourth grade. He invited me to his house in Chadds Ford, PA. He introduced me to his amazing wife and showed me his house and the projects he was working on. I sat with him in his living space and began the interview. He was amazing the way he worked with me. His answers to the questions I ask dive into his life and his loves which are unexpected and expected. He speaks about how he met his wife, his latest work, his hobbys, where he paints and many other detailed facts of his life. The interview is on Cassette Tape and the audio is perfect. The tape was to be used for a school project though never got to be heard. I am the only person who has ever heard the tape. It is 15 minutes long.
My question about said tape is:
How can I determine the worth?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stop Products Made In China right now???
I think NO, why do I say so? After a long time thinking, I summed up these point to support my view.
1,As we all know China is a developing country with a large population. Most factories are labor-and resource-intensive industries, compared to many other countries the costs of labor force saved a lot.
2,And due to China also a country aboundant in natural resources, almost all the materials needed in production can be supplied home.
3,Most importantly, constant innovation of technology has brought to China tremendous changes. Many Hi-Tech products are now developed and applied in China, the productivity improved a lot.
All these account for the good Chinese products with low price. You may also find many world famous companies have moved their factories to China in order to cut off their expenses. In fact, what they sell to you also Made In China. Can you say products Made In China not good?

Beware of cheap chinese products
First of all ,I have to make it clear I'm not the people all over the world, not the judge, I'm just a common guy. Follows are just my own opinions, any questions, happy to talk with you.
Over the years, low-priced products from China started flooding in to the world market in every segment including Apparel & Accessories,Luggage & Bags and Computer & Networking . We always wonder about how they can sell it so cheap. The answer is here.
1,Primarily, the raw materials used are of the worst quality.
2,They are not investing on research or innovation; they simply copy the products of established brands.
3,They are not spending for customer support or after sales service.
4,They are not spending money for advertising or marketing.
5,Mass production
Once a guy told me the only way to keep ourselves safe is to avoid Chinese products.I mean it's too extreme,i,as a owner of our local area, would rather tell you my experience on one online shopping mall called www.dudool.com,first time, I was so worried to buy on dudool because I didn't try it before and I don't know if the seller is honest because the price is very cheap. But I decide to believe on dudool and to buy a first item. The contact with the seller was wonderful and after 7days I received my item with a good gift from the seller. I was very happy and I repurchase the item and a lot of other items because now I believe dudool is an honest and secure website.

Where I go under working stress?
Prior to present job:I had a regular 9-5 and was able to work out regularly.I was doing 531 with sprints and Lift Heavy Things whenever I was short on time.
Now: I recently got a job working as a bartender, which means late nights. When I work I never go to bed before 3 AM. I don't want to lose sleep so I sleep in whenever I can. I've gotten my sleep pattern down so Im not so tired.
Wishes:I want to go back to working out hard like I used to, but Im concerned that adding extra stress will just mess with my health instead of improving it.
Helps: If anyone has any experience with this kind of situation, I'd really appreciate any advice.

**********American Hot Rod**********
I watched the Discovery Channel show, American Hot Rod the other night and it did give me a deep impression, even till this moment, I hardly throw it out of my head, may I have the honor the put it here to share? Thank you.
The story was just like this: It showed a young beginner guy and a supposed older experienced mechanic trying to drill an existing hole to 5/8" diameter. They went into the machine shop (very nice looking but almost too clean to be "real") and proceeded to clamp the part into a drill vise but failed to clamp the vise to the drill table. The drill "grabbed" and flung the vise and part across the floor. Somebody was lucky they didn't get their fingers broke or their teeth knocked out.
A 5/8" end mill should have been used to open the first 1/4" as a "pilot guide hole" and then a 5/8" drill bit to finish it.
Rather than show the mistake of not clamping the vise to the table they proceeded to make each other look stupid. It seemed real flaky to me like after the mishap they quickly shot a "beginning scene" stating "don't break the drill bit".
Stupid is forever but ignorance can be fixed. I have worked in and around machine shops all of my adult life and motorcycle shops too. I once saw somebody severly injure themselves (SEVERED HAND) because they had a pair of gloves on. They were ignorant, nobody told them to not wear gloves around machiney, band saws included. Jesus forgives, machines don't, just like my work in mending motorcycle, all kinds of Motorcycle Parts lay in front of you, you have to know how to use it correctly without hurting yourself.
Discovery Channel could do better with the reality TV concept, mistakes are part of life but they should have shown how to prevent them, how to learn from them, don't you think so?
