    Illustrators who can make their images into movies are awesome! I know of two great artists that make movies out of their art. One is William Kentridge, who has a piece at the ASU Art Museum. Learn more about him on ArtFortune

    Laura Goldhammer is a musician and artist from Denver, CO who creates movies to go together with her songs. She's got some great stuff.

    This reminds me of M.C Esher drawings, were they have that movement that leads you to a place that is impossible, but so possible on paper. I love it! Is mischievous in a way.

    Another great artist who works in hand-drawn animation is Michael Dudok De Wit. He does a lot of small, thought-provoking pieces with (as far as I've seen) no dialogue and little sound, produced entirely by himself. You can check out a lot of his work by searching for his name on youtube.

    My favorite is Father and Daughter.
