    Default How I Deal With Procrastination

    I do this little tidbit when I really want to get something done/ not get something done. I hope it helps you too.

    1. Get a timer. This could be a real timer, like a watch, or a widget you can download if you do a quick Google search.

    2. Set the time for 25 minutes and work furiously. Don't take any breaks.

    3. When the timer goes off, set it for 5 minutes and do whatever you want: eat toast, watch TV, read a few pages out a good book, spin around, throw up.

    4. Keep doing this until you're done or you've gotten enough work finished.

    5. Profit????

    I have a huge issue with procrastination so I'll have to try this!

    I have read a lot of solutions to deal with procrastination (I'm not telling why) but I have never one like this! Its clever!

    I have often tried the timer trick to get me started, but I haven't taken it the extra step and used it the whole time I am working. This could come in really handy. Next time I catch myself putting something off (which could be very soon) I will give this a try. Thanks!

    Wake yourself up and focus on the work. Time is not renewable.
