So I inherited (read: they filed for bankruptcy and gave me) two paintings that I know nothing about. The first is signed Edith Thompson



The second painting is signed T. Johnson. Now, I know there was a famous engraver named Thomas Johnson, but I don't think it's the same person.



Can the knowledgeable folks on the boards help me find out what I have here? Are these something I should worry about keeping safe? Or am I just essentially holding my in-laws' junk?
