The graphic design manager plans, manages, and coordinates activities of the graphic design function and staff.  This includes directing and executing design projects, developing appropriate solutions to deliverables such as brochures, presentations, displays, exhibits, web sites, signage, identity systems, illustrations, and advertising.  The manager collaborates with SRI management and with business development and research staff, and works very closely with other members of the department.  The manager ensures that designs and processes are current with regard to trends, best practices, and costs, and are consistent with corporate objectives, strategies, and image.
