Gufeng Zhang comes from a long line of family artists. Gufeng completed his study of Art at Zhejiang Fine Art Academy in the print department. Zhang Yanghi was the director of the print department at Zhejiang Fine Art Academy, the father of Gufeng Zhang. A Chinese technique mixing watercolor and woodcut describes the engravings and watermark woodblocks that Zhang specializes in.
