| Haluk Akakce creates video animations, wall paintings, and sound installations in order to describe the interactions and relationship between society and technology. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London and has since produced work see all over the world. His most famous piece is titled, The Sky is the Limit. Executed on Freemont Street in downtown Las Vegas it encompassed the 12.5 million LEDs of the Viva Vision canopy. At 8 p.m. each night, all the lights would go dark before his brilliantly colored and patterned animation across them began. |
