How To Draw Faces
Art Tips | How To Draw Faces

1. Head Draw a general oval shape. For side view, cut about a 25 degree angled wedge out of the oval from the lower (right or left side depending on which way the person is looking) so that the chin is lower than the back of the head
2. Eyes Place the eyes halfway down on the oval
3. Ears Draw the ears in line with the eyes on either side of the head
4. Nose split the lower half of the oval (under the eyes) in two sections and place the base of the nose on this line in the center of the face
5. Mouth Split the space between the nose base and the chin in half and draw your mouth along this line in the center. The outer edge of each side of the mouth should create an imaginary vertical line to the center of the eyes dried acrylic paint without damaging an existing layer. This makes it easy to produce a hard or sharp edge. Make sure the edges of the tape are stuck down firmly and don't paint too thickly on the edges, otherwise you won't get a clean line when you lift it.
