Biography
| James Earl was an American portrait and miniature painter, and the younger brother of Ralph Earl. He arrived in England and entered RA Schools in 1789. He Exhibited RA in 1787-96. In 1796, Earl returned to America and in 1796 he was painting portraits at Charleston when he died. |
