Biography
A son of Erasmus Quellinus the Younger. Though he lived in Rome by 1660, on returning to the Netherlands he became court painter to the Archdukes Leopold I, then Joseph I, at Malines. His Veronese-inspired large decorative landscape paintings were typical of classicizing Late Baroque in the Netherlands.
