Kaisheng Yang was born in China in 1930. He was a pioneer of Heilongjiang Art School. He graduated from Luxum Fine Arts Institute in 1956. He has been an editor for several printmaking magazines. His works have been shown and awarded at national Chinese exhibitions. He has shown his work through out the world including Japan the United States, France, Hong Kong, Austria, Taiwan and Italy.
