Biography
| He was born, lived and studied in Feodosia. Studied in the studio of I.K.Aivazovskiy, at the Academy of Arts under A.I.Kouindji (1891-1897). Graduated from the Academy as a Painter. He travelled around Germany, France (1897), Italy, Greece (1907-1908). Member of the World of Art group, Union of Russian Artists, Fare-colour. Painter, water-colour painter, lithography painter. His Crimean landscapes are very famous. Honored culture worker of Russia (1933), one of the best Russian landscape painters of Soviet period. |
