Biography
Butler travelled on the continent, and also worked in Newlyn in Cornwall in the early 1890's and housed an artist's colony headed by Elizabeth Forbes and her husband Stanhope.
Butler exhibited at the Irish Fine Arts Society (later the Watercolor Society of Ireland), and the Dudley Gallery, London She also exhibited at the Society of Lady Artists for nearly forty years, and was made an Associate Member. |
