Biography
| in 1897 Tarkhov took a trip to Crimea, where he met with famous Russian artist K. Korovin; later on, worked in Korovin's workshop in Moscow. With K.Korovin he painted numerous impressionistic landscapes, urban and rural, still lives with fruits and vegetables. His vibrant colors and the choice of subjects resembles French Impressionists. Tarkhov also completed series of oil portraits of his wife and children. |
