Biography
LAPSHIN NIKOLAY FEODOROVITCH (1888-1942) Studied in the Central College of Technical Drawing named after Count A. Stieglitz and Drawing School of the Society for the Encouragement of the Artists in Petersburg. Member of the Union of the New Trends in Art (1919-1922). Taught in the Polygraph College and Higher State Artistic and Technical Workshops-Higher State Art Technical Institute at the graphic department in Leningrad since 1929. Painter, graphic artist. Painted Leningrad's landscapes, worked as a book graphic. Influenced on the Leningrad's landscape painting of the 1920-30-s, especially on landscape masters of the union "Circle of Artists".
