Biography
| Nina Vassilievna Kashina was born in Perm. Nadezhda Kashina’s sister. Her pseudonym is Nina Pamiatnykh. In 1922 she graduated from the Art college in Perm. Since 1922 lived in Moscow. Studied at the Higher State Art Technical Institute under N.N. Koupreanov, K.N. Istomin, V.A. Favorskiy, P.V. Mituritch (1922 - 30). Participated in exhibitions since 1929. Member of the «ROST» group (from 1928), the Group of Artists «13» (1929 - 32). Painter, graphic artist, book designer, poster designer. She tried to direct her creative aspirations to the needs of workers-spectators. Participated in the avant-garde movement in 1920s. |
