Biography
| Studied at Art-School of baron Shtiglits in S.-Petersburg (1916-1918), and later at Moscow Art-School VKhUTEMAS, where her teachers were I.Mashkov, N.Kuprijanov, V.Favorskiy (1919-1923). She was a member of Association of workers of the revolutionary poster (1931-1932). Since 1932 she was the participant of exhibitions. Together with husband N.Troshin she wrote and illustrated children's books. Since 1932 she drew basically in watercolours, created series from children's life and portraits. The most famous serie of O.Dejneko is the serie "Laundress". She also illustrated some magazines. In 1942 she took part in the exhibition "Moscow artists during the war". In 1943 she together with her husbend exposed their works at their exhibition in Moscow. In 1946 where was the personal exhibition of the artist. In 1960th she worked as the designer for VDNKh. Works of the artist are stored in State Tretjakov's Gallery and in the other museums. |
