Biography
| Dora's first illustrated story was published at the age of fifteen. Dora began work as a literary illustrator whose commissions include works by Rabelais, Balzac, Milton, Dante, Lord Byron, the French edition of Cervantes's Don Quixote. Dora also illustrated an oversized edition of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven", for Harper & Brothers in 1883. |
