Biography
| Parreno's work primarily revolves around the interrogation of the nature of an image, as well as the modes of its exhibition. He frequently draws on pre-existing material and then add his own, mostly narrative, ideas. He writes for many art magazines and is a contributor to Domus magazine, Above magazine, and a chapter to Sound Unbound: Sampling Digital Music and Culture. In June 2006, he released a documentary he directed with Scottish artist-filmmaker Douglas Gordon entitled "Zidane, A 21st Century Portrait." |
