Biography
Rachel Feinstein recieved her BA from Columbia University in New York. She also attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, ME.
Her artwork touches upon mythic and religious iconography as well as feminist ideology. She met artist John Currin when she was 23, whom she later married. In 2006, Feinstein had a mid-career retrospective at Le Consortium in Dijon, and her eighth solo show opened at the Corvi-Mora gallery in London in May 2007. |
