Biography
| Richard Corbould, was a painter of pretty landscapes, and of almost every other sort of picture, from miniatures to religious history.The artist was also a most prolific book illustrator. Born in London April 18th 1757.The artist died in Highgate July 27th 1831.He was a student of R. Marris 1773 and entered RA Schools in 1774. He Exhibited FS 1776 RA 1777-1811 BI 1806-17. He also worked in watercolours and etched. |
