| Russell Young began his career as a photographer. After photographing the cover of George Michael's "Faith" album, he was instantly launched into acclaim and was soon photographing dozens of band before directing over 100 music videos for MTV. Soon after, he had the first show of his painting that, until then, he had kept secret. His work focuses on popular culture and celebrity. Since his debut, his paintings have been added to a variety of collections and remain sought after. He currently works and lives in New York and California. |
