Biography
| Tom Wesselmann was an American pop artist who specialized in found art collages. After attending Hiram College in Ohio, he then transferred to University of Cincinnati too study Psychology. In 1952, Wesselmann was drafted into the US Army, though he remained stateside during his service. Afterward, he completed his psychology degree and then began to study drawing at the Art Academy of Cincinnati before attending Cooper Union. After graduation, Wesselamnn became a founding member of the Judson Gallery. |
