| Toyokazu Kono,was the son of Seiko Kono,and the grandson of Bairei Kono.Comming from a family of painters Toyokazu,then attended and graduated from the Kyoto Municipal School of Arts and Crafts in 1931.He then went on to Kyoto Municipal College of Painting, where he graduated in 1934.The official Art exhibition of Teiten and Nitten excepted Toyokazu Kono.The artist joined the Shinchosa group of artists,after world war II, and recieved a post as an art instructor at Saganu Senior High School in Kyoto.Toyokazu Kono then went on to represent Japan at the International Society For Education through art held in Montreal Canada. |
