Studied at the Stroganov Art-Industrial School in Moscow under K.A. Korovin, I.I. Nivinsky, N.A. Andreev, Architectors S.V. Noakovsky, I.V. Zholtvsky. Free student at the Academy of Arts since 1906, in 1912 he got the title of artist. Pensioner of OPH in Rome. Participant of exhibitions. Made portraits, still lifes, genre pictures, book illustrator.
