Weiming Zhu was born in 1940 in Zhejiang province is an eastern coastal province of the peoples republic of China. He graduated from Zhejiang Fine Art Academy in 1964 and is a professor at the China Fine Arts Academy. He stays active in his profession and is the director of the Prints Artist Association of Zhejiang province. He has written and published a book on Pablo Picasso.
