Biography
Yang Rui was born in Suzhou, China in 1950. Suzhou is a city on the lower reaches of the River. Yang Rui spent time in a labor camp after he was deported during the Cultural Revolution. He later attended Suzhou Art School and graduated in 1984. Yang Rui is a freelance artist that shows his work in China mainly but has shown his work in the United States.
