Yanosuke Kawabata was born in 1893. He graduated from Keio University located in Tokyo, Japan. It is the oldest Institute of higher education in Japan. Moving to Paris in 1922 Kawabata studied there until 1925. He was an instructor at the Kyoto City School Of Fine Arts and Crafts. He worked as a printmaker and also as a oil painter. He died in 1981.
