Biography
| Studied at the Moscow School for Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture under A. Vasnetsov. After graduating he traveled and then started working as a guide in great Moscow museums. He has exhibited with Leonardo da Vinci society, the Target group. The Nizhny period was the most fruitful and ripe in his whole creative work. He was invited to direct the arts department of the local historical museum; this soon became the center of the entire arts life of the town. In 1934, it became an independent museum. He made a lot of drawings (pencile, indian ink, pen, water colour). |
