Zexin Zhang was born in 1961 in Heilongjiang province that borders Russia in the North. Canada, along with several Asian and European Countries have been areas that Zhang's work in woodblock prints have been displayed. He also maintains a membership in the Heilongjiang Prints Institute and the Chinese Artists Association.
